🌏 World Ozone Day Celebration🌏
On 16th September, our school proudly celebrated World Ozone Day to spread awareness about the importance of the ozone layer and the need to protect it for a sustainable future.
The programme began with a brief introduction on the theme of the year “Montreal Protocol: Keeping us, our food and vaccines cool” (2024 theme). Students presented informative speeches, skits, and role plays highlighting how ozone depletion affects climate and human health. An interactive quiz on environmental protection and a poster-making competition were also organised.
Our Principal Dr. Shyamala Rao addressed the gathering and motivated students to adopt eco-friendly habits such as reducing plastic use, planting more trees, and conserving energy.
The event successfully instilled a sense of responsibility among students to safeguard our planet’s protective shield – the Ozone Layer. 🌱💙
